Traverse City Curling Club

Recreation/Athletic

The TC Curling Club is a 28,000-square-foot dedicated curling facility located within the Cherryland Center in Traverse City. Featuring five sheets of regulation curling ice and spectator viewing areas, the center hosts regional tournaments, local leagues, corporate events, and USA Curling sanctioned competitions.

Designed with accessibility at the forefront, the facility incorporates disability-friendly architecture and is home to Michigan’s first wheelchair curling team, expanding opportunities for athletes of all abilities.

The project transformed a long-vacant former Kmart building that had sat empty since 2017, helping catalyze renewed investment throughout the Cherryland Center. Since construction began, additional community-focused developments have followed, further revitalizing the once-underutilized space into a destination for recreation and family entertainment.

“When C-L's leadership joined our project, they stepped up and made community involvement a huge focus. The C-L team’s commitment to its mission of positive impact is reflected in their work and leadership.”
