2020 Community Impact Project
In partnership with Easterseals and Orion Township, the Miracle League Field at Friendship Park was developed as a 100 percent barrier-free baseball and softball facility, providing athletes of all abilities the opportunity to participate in an inclusive, community-centered environment.
Supporting the field, a new concessions and restroom building was constructed to serve players, families, and spectators. Designed for durability and accessibility, the structure includes ADA-compliant facilities, commercial-grade materials, and energy-efficient systems to ensure long-term performance and ease of maintenance.
Together, the improvements create a welcoming destination where children and families can gather, compete, and build confidence in a fully accessible setting.
