The Kahn

The Kahn

Multi-Family / Mixed-Use

13-story Historic Preservation and Adaptive Reuse project. Over 320,000 SF of office space converted to Multi-Family and Retail. The project was constructed in the heart of COVID, between Q2 of 2019 and Q3 of 2021.

“Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Kahn building originally opened its doors in 1931 as an office building to some of the most prestigious firms in Detroit – including the architectural firm of Albert Kahn.”

“Albert Kahn, known as “the Architect of Detroit” designed over 100 buildings in his lifetime including the iconic Fisher Building, the Free Press Building, and the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House.”

"Putting my request in Cunningham-Limp to be the team for our next project. I am impressed with how they run a job in all aspects. Everyone from C-L has been great to work with on this project, and I appreciate their follow-through and attention to detail to ensure the job is done correctly."
