The ongoing Dexter Fire Station project involves demolishing an existing structure and constructing a new two-story fire station to support modern emergency response and firefighter wellness. The 12,500 SF facility includes administrative offices, a watch command center, classrooms, and dedicated training areas, as well as five apparatus bays capable of housing up to seven emergency vehicles. Living quarters for 15 firefighters feature dorms, dayrooms, a fitness center, and dining space, while a green roof supports sustainability goals and long-term operational efficiency. (In progress)
